Wise Games session
Come and join us of Tuesday the 22nd of June.
This event is for home schoolers age 10 and over. The session will have a maximum of 9 participants
This session will be a trial for a possible weekly session in term 3.
In this session we will:
1- Play various board games and card games together. Depending on the group size, we might be playing various games at once to make sure everyone is having fun. There will be a choice of 10+ games. Participants will decide on the games to play during the session.
2- Explore the health topic for this session: ‘Attentiveness‘. From the Cambridge dictionary, attentiveness means ‘the fact of paying attention and listening carefully‘. Attentiveness is a quality required to have better focus, mindfulness and empathy. These qualities are necessary for maintaining a healthy mind and making healthy decisions in life. We will do so while playing the games and in between game sessions. The idea is to use the games and the joy of playing to develop this quality.
Let me know if you are intending to come and how many young adults will be participating.
